Solve : Browser will not connect to website?

Answer»

I have been using Pale Moon browser for over a year now and have been logging in to a certain website with no problems. Then a couple weeks ago I started getting this message, "Pale Moon can't establish a connection to the server at XXXX.com". I tried other browsers, IE and Chrome. Same thing. I checked online to see if the site was up at a couple places and it was. I was able to access it via a proxy site but not all the links and buttons functioned. I checked with a friend who also uses the site and they said they had no problems. What would cause it to all of a sudden be unavailable from my computer? Sounds like am IP thing. I even had my IP updated and changed. Same thing.Your PC or your ISP is blocking that site.
The fact that you see it in proxy indicates that. In some caries, the remote server is blocking you. They can block IPs in a certain area. A new IP does not help.

The exact cause might never be known. The site your want may be on a BLACKLIST, or your IP is on their blacklist.  You can also run and scan your computer with  Malwarebytes basically to check for any malware which may be CAUSING this. Or you may also check the Windows host file if any application or malware has made any MODIFICATIONS to that file which may be blocking that website to be displayed. What Site ? ?Thanks for the answers.
