Can't do file or folder search either. Can't get into MY Documents, My Breifcase, HISTORY, Recycle Bin, ETC., either. I get window with "Exlorer an error inSHDOCVW.DLL Explorer will now close" Have done all scans. Will reinstalling Windows ME help?either use system restore..or go to the msdos prompt c:\windows and type this command scanreg/restore and CHOSE the last GOOD cab files..answer yes when the splash screen appears...or locate the c:\windows\option\cabs\folder next to the scanreg icon is one called SETUP if you were to click this icon it will re-install your system back to the day it was re-installed and will not overwrite any of your files...or msoft solution>http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=311359i recomend up dating to win xpQuote
