Answer» This is strange. IE can no longer access web sites that begin with http, but I can connect to HTTPS (secure) sites. I get the "cannot FIND server/page cannnot be displayed" REMARK. Netscape connects with no problem. I did not download or change any software between IE working and not workring. I have RUN spyware. I have run antivirus software and EVEN turned off Norton Firewall, all to no avail! Help! Win XP Home Ed. with sp2 I.E. ver 6.0.29Problem solved!! There was a compatability issue with Norton Security (Firewall). After I removed 8080 from the post list, IE worked. Now Weather Bug also works.Problem solved!!
