yesterday i was playing a game and i lost connection to the internet. When i tried to log BACK on it said no internet connection and there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle over the connection bars. This is only for the connection at home, i can connect to the net with my at my GIRLFRIENDS house and also thru my verizon wireless access, but use of that is limited and i do have some work i need to get done is there any way to fix this?
Have you tried the universally excepted 'first try' method of 'switching the router and computer off for 5 minutes, then switching back on' ??Not for 5 minutes no, ill give it a shot!Ok so that WORKED...i RECONNECTED and it still says no internet access with the yellow caution symbol but i can surf the web and open e-mail and stuff i can do my work now for sure. and idea why it still says no internet access?And thank you verry much!
You really need to provide more information ??

Does it the connection work better with an Ethernet cable ??Ok so after a while the yellow sign went away and now it says internet access. Well whatever happened after the 5 min works so thank you so much!!!!

Glad your sorted !! Ok there is a router in the other room connected to a desktop with they yellow LAN cord , and i am here on my hp notebook connected to it by wireless. your fix worked for me i don't know what else i need to say lol. thank you thank you thank you thank you?
If its working fine, then you need to say NOTHING.

But it might of made things easier, if you provided, what OS your using (windows 7, XP, vista), make and model of wireless router (you only mentioned Verizon), your notebook make and model (just 'hp' isnt really enough) etc etc
