Answer» Even though I use DSL, when going to a new web page, I frequently get a Cannot find server or Connection timed out error message. In order to get a connection, I usually reboot the modem. Other times, that doesn't work and I have to reboot the computer. Twice in the last couple of days, I had to do a system restore to get a connection. There is a wide difference in occurances. SOMETIMES I can go hours without getting an error, sometimes it can be every ten minutes or so. Perhaps I should have mentioned that my wife's computer is on the same modem and she does not have this problem.I see.
Any router involved?
Wired, or wireless connection?
Windows version?I have this problem to.

I have 2 pc's using the same belken router.

1 works fine the other does not whenever it is turned on it gets connected (I can ACCESS its hard DRIVE from the other PC) but IE6 gets page not found and OUTLOOK express returns error no socket found.

A system restore cures this until I turn it off and back on again when I get the problem back.
