I am running a desktop, and laptop on my d link router. I am using a dsl connection. I cannot open certain websites on either computer for ex: www.usbank.com. If I connect my laptop to my neighbors wireless i can access all sites. Tried resetting the dsl modem, and router..no luck..any ideas?What Windows version? What browser?
www.usbank.com is a secure web site, so it must be something about your security settings.
Since you can access that site through your neighbour connection, most likely, there is some security setting on your router.
Try this.

In IE7:

Tools ---> Internet Options ---> Advanced Tab.
Under security, select the following:

Use SSL 3.0
Use TLS 1.0

Does it work now? Or do you already have those checked?

Also, try Firefox, and see what happens.

I'm totally clueless. You can connect through your neighbour network, but not through your modem...hmmmmm

Connect your computer straight to your modem, disconnect modem from power source, wait 30 sec, reconnect. Restart computer, and try again.

We, apparently eliminated your router, so the very last option, which I really tried to avoid, is bad modem. How old is it?
BTW...does your neighbour have same ISP, as yours?
