dl65 You should delete Cookies, history and File cache from Internet Options. It will not be as accurate as some tools, but it also quarantees that you will not delete any required files..What do you mean by operating system? I'm not very computer suave. I keep going to internet options and deleting cookies and files...even the offline ones, however my search history is still up and so is my screenames and such for different sites...the only one i noticed a change in was my hotmail account. Is there possible a security file that i can disable or enable that will cure this problem? Thank you for your help, angelFINALLY WORKED. After i posted my last reply i brought the cleaner program back up that merlin had me download and check marked everything but the system IIS log files and then i restarted my computer. now yahoo and google don't have my search history any longer, also the websites i frequently visit don't have my email or screenname saved. Thank everyone for your help. AngelAngel......Operating system means what kind of Windows is installed on your pc ......for example......Windows 98 or 98 SE or Win 2000 or Win ME or Win XP

It has a special section dedicated to removing AOL related files.Angel.....AOL .....is a great big pain in the neck , and very difficult to get rid of.....But if you must use AOL..... Look for a evaluation D/l of System Mechanic Pro ......it has a very nice feature in its "clean" section which will let you remove the AOL search info ....... If you THINK I'm anti AOL ........I'm not really but have had annoying experiences with it .....( Also there was (is) a class action lawsuit agaunst then over the way AOL takes over ones computer.
