i have no idea what kind of computer i have. its a windows xp or something. because of websites that i have been to, my parents wont let me get internet on my computer. i dont do that stuff anymore but they dont believe me. but i want to know if i can get internet so i can play ONLINE games, but not be able to surf the net? please any information is very much appreaciated!!!!!So you mean like block every website except an online game website?

To check your Operating System, right click on My Computer and go to Properties. It should tell you there.
Also, what browser are you using and what site are you talking about?Shouldn't it just be easyer to just blok the sites that you may not enter?

Jonas the entire situation is this: i got a NEW comp in my room but my parents wont let me have internet.my friends want me to play with them on world of warcraft or sumthin but my parents wont let me have internet in my room. i woul get it DOWNSTAIRS but that computer really SUCKS and my FAMILY talks alot and it gives me a headache lol. i just need to find a way to be able to play games like world of warcraft and not surf the internet. thx for the help.So you want to conect to the internet, but not browse the internet in a browser?If your parents won't let you get internet, then no, you can't do this. There is no special gaming-only internet. You will simply have to earn their trust. Or, you could remove all browsers from your computer (not recommended) and/or offer to let them install monitoring software on your computer.
