If you're unsure about what hardware you've got then do this: From the start menu select Run... type dxdiag and press enter Press the "Save all information..." button Save the text file somewhere you can find it again. You can then attach the text file to a reply in this thread.
To attach a file make a new reply and press "Additional Options..."
You also didn't mention whether XP is fully updated through Windows/Microsoft Update and if you've downloaded the latest drivers for you hardware. system Information ------------------ Time of this report: 12/21/2007, 17:11:03 Machine name: DRAGON Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: HP Pavilion 061 System Model: PJ466AA-ABA M1170N BIOS: BIOS Date: 09/24/04 14:22:18 Ver: 08.00.10 Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 512MB RAM Page File: 344MB used, 904MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DIRECTX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode did i do it right (sorry if i didnt i really dont know much about this stuff)my windows xp is fully updated but i dont think my drivers areYeah got almost everything now. I forgot to ask, have you downloaded the latest update for the game? If not you can do so here: ftp://ftp.ea.com/pub/eapacific/lotr/lotrbfme/LotrBfMe-101-english.exe
If this doesn't fix it I suggest you get the latest drivers for your graphics card. Get it here. Be sure to read the installation instructions FIRST.
