Solve : computer reboots, but why?? |

Answer» I have found three web sites that when I try to open, my computer goes black screen and reboots. I am using IE6 and XP. First showed up when I try www.cbs.com. What virus/spyware protection is being used? You should run scans in safe mode with system restore turned off. Unless that machine is squeaky clean all bets are off. Free RAM test at www.memtest86.com Free hard drive testing from appropriate drive maker's site. If this is all normal post back and we can proceed. If not, write down any error messages and post those. It is indeed a RAM problem.We shall see about that. It MAY well be, but at this TIME we are not sure.
