Answer» I want to CONVERT some mp3 files to cda's so my mom can listen to some music on the cd player in her car. I thought Windows Media Player and then others like Audacity plus some that 'Kim Kommando' recommended would do it for me. It's all freeware; am I doing something wrong?
I just can't find anything that will help me, does anyone know of something safe I can use?
Thanks, Ti think tunebite can do that. it costs money though. You need to covert mp3 to wav FORMAT, first, then burn wav to CD, in order for regular CD player to read music files. Some CD players are mp3 ready, and in that case, you can simply burn files in mp3 format. Sample mp3 to wav converter: http://www.mp3fe.com/main_mp32wav.htmYou GUY's up there in pc .www heaven are a class act. My hats off to you all.
I think I was converting to mp3 to .wma and then burning to cd, which apparently is wrong.
I have to go out of town for the next day so please don't drop this subject 'dead' before I have the chance to reply and try your advice to let you know I was successful.
Thanx T. Just reply when you're back, and we'll know. Also, be aware of one more thing. I've seen CAR CD players, which won't play home made CDs no matter what. I've never seen a solution to this problem.Quote from: Broni on June 23, 2008, 06:59:51 PM Just reply when you're back, and we'll know. Also, be aware of one more thing. There is no solution. That's usually because they can't read CD-R/RW discs. A lot of older CD-ROM drives and players are like that.
You can burn MP3s to audio CDs DIRECTLY as CD audio tracks using Windows Media Player and most CD burning software (Nero, Roxio, ETC.)
