Solve : cs problems and more..? |
|
Answer» alright, well i just built my new pc and have had zero problems until today. i just find it ironic that it all had to happen in one day.... Everywhere i go the same method. thats what i SAID i tried but didnt work. i actually tried that atleast 3 times. and no, my network is not secure... i just set it up the other day, but i was gonna get around to it. EDIT: i just secured my network and it didnt resolve my spikes. do the lag spikes only occur when you are playing over the internet? do they occur when you play CoD4 single player? we have to be certain we are zeroing in on the right thing.Quote from: homer on December 01, 2007, 12:53:30 PM do the lag spikes only occur when you are playing over the internet? do they occur when you play CoD4 single player? we have to be certain we are zeroing in on the right thing. they only occor online. can you hookup directly to the internet, without using the router or the wireless adapter? if you can, see if the lag spikes occur when you are directly connected to the internet.Quote from: homer on December 01, 2007, 08:03:07 PM can you hookup directly to the internet, without using the router or the wireless adapter? if you can, see if the lag spikes occur when you are directly connected to the internet. i have resolved my lag spike problem. i CONTACTED linksys and i had to change my mtu size to 1400. however, i still have the hl2.exe error. and i was wondering why i had to change my mtu to 1400? |
