Answer» I bought this flight SIMULATION game and the game loads fine and was installed fine but when I go to play the game it will load and SEEM to want to play. Then a window pops up and tells me DDERR_SURFACELOST. I downloaded the newest version of directX from Microsoft, and some new drivers. I am running XP PRO and have the Nvidia graphics card. Has anyone ENCOUNTERED this problem before please help!Do you have any idea how many Flight simulator games there are out there? I suggest you Google for the error. That usually will produce some helpful results.I ALREADY TRIED THAT AND DIDN'T GET ANY USEFUL INFO. I WAS HOPING SOMEONE ELSE ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM AND HAD AN ANSWER.reinstall. give us an EXACT name not just "flight simulator". for all i know this could be 3d Extreams "Terminal Velocity" (1994 flight sim fighter game that ran in dos and had used midi files of i GUY tapping a mic for sound effects.)
