Solve : Diretx?

Answer»

I just got a new game CALLED Moto GP 08. It looks like a good game. I can't get it to play my computer has better specs than what is called for. I keep getting a failed to initialize Diretx. What can I do? Thank you for your time.First try re-installing DirectX.
Then if that don't work re-install the game.
If that don't work try re-installing your video card drivers.

Sometimes crucial files get corrupted and re-installation can often sort it, and at very least it eliminates those possibilities. Good luck.The game has been installed THREE times. Directx I have reinstalled twice. I have no video card. The chipset is up to date according to the computer. What next?Do a search for known issues related to the game and your graphics chip. Onboard graphics are not as supported when it come to gaming unfortunatly. There may be a patch tho, but I thnk your chip might not be supported even tho it meets the minimum requirements. A patch may be your only hope...Moto GP 2008 system requirements:

Quote

* Operating system Windows XP/Windows Vista;
* Processor Intel Pentium 4;
* Operative memory of 512 Mb (Windows XP)/1 Gb (Windows Vista);
* 5.5 Gb of an empty seat on a hard disk;
* Video card with support DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0, NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or is better, ATI Radeon X1600 or it is better;
* Compatible with DirectX 9.0c a sound card

No on-board card that I'm aware of even comes CLOSE to a Geforce 6600 or Radeon x1600; except maybe a few specialty BOARDS that implement Nvidia or AMD chipsets with Geforce or Radeon on-board, but even in that case their performance is no match for a graphics card of the same model.Thanks much for your time. I thought that my chip SET was good to go, it is the Intel 31. I will have to get a card or play it on one of the other computers that have a better card, Ge Force 8400. Thank you much for your time. I feel so foolish.a computer without graphics card won't run any new games, try looking on http://www.canyourunit.com to see if you meet the system requirementsYeah, those Intel graphics chipsets are alright for everyday computing, like surfing the web, watching movies, creating documents, etc. but when it comes to games (especially 3D games) they're almost useless. They don't support shader 3.0, which often results in the game crashing when trying to START it. There's nothing wrong with your hardware, it just can't handle this game.
