Hi I was wondering if anyone on here could help me try to disable my content advisor because there are a lot of sites I connot get on. Here is my dilemma, neither me nor my husband enabled the content advisor which means we do not know the password. Does anyone know how to disable it without the password. Please get back to me soon.

Everytime I disable it I can get on line, but I have to disable it everytime in order to get on to the internet. This is driving me crazy, can anyone help?You could PERHAPS set a password and then set it to allow you to view every website no matter if it is off or on.

I have not tried this, but perhaps it is possible.I had one program called Password Recovery Kit 4.3 that I have in my CD. It has a feature to unlock IE Contect Advisor password that I have tried to unlock my IE password succesfully. But, since i got it on the CD I bought a year ago, I don't know where you could get it from the internet. My sugestion is that you try to SEARCH it in the Internet and I hope you'll find it.remove the content advisor and ratings password using regedit in the run box to do this ok.

open your registry find the key below single click on the key to HIGHLIGHT it, press the DELETE key or alternatively select delete from the edit menu close internet explorer, re-open it and the content advisor feature should be disabled has anybody found out what a load of rubbish winxp is stable system i dont think so...

We had the same problem...finally figured it out...go to internet options/ content advisor click on disable advisor our prompt came up as god after a thousand tries we tried hallealuah and it disabled then click on disable privacy filter.....good luckThe Topic is 5 YEARS old....and neither person is a Member anymore...Randomact is randomly posting.Then he has chosen his username wisely....weedhopper.
