Solve : dual boot from linux...help? |
Answer» recently the hard DRIVE in my Asus Z96Jm laptop went kaput (note: this is only what i THINK has happened, will boot from a usb drive, not when an OS is installed on the internal hard drive). as i was thinking of switching to LINUX anyway, i decided to TAKE the plunge with a little push from VISTA (hate it, hate it, hate it). i have successfully installed feisty fawn on the external drive (which i can't do with micro$oft's anti-piracy/anti-customer-friendly policy ) and am confused as to create a folder in my home directory. have already downloaded QEMU to run vista *shiver*. would appreciate any and all constructive feedback & SUGGESTIONS. tynote: i am such a n00b that i really need step-by-step instructions as to how to do...anything. ty againSo, you can't create a folder? That seems odd.... Could you clarify? What exactly are you trying to do? And what is actually happening? |
