Solve : email blocked?

I am TRYING to send an email with an attachment but i keep getting this reply:

Subject: File blocked - ScanMail for Lotus Notes -->

ScanMail has removed an attachment during a real-time scan of the mail
traffic.


I am up to date with protection and all scans are o.k.
I  am running xp with AVG, spybot and zone alarm firewall.
Can anyone help?Try zipping the file with winzip to send it.Will try that now. Thanks.Disable scan mail........over reacting......I didnt know i had scan mail? Is it part of avg or zone alarm then? Quote

I think the 'scanner' is your ISP  
Can you send any attachments at all?This is the first time i have ever had this message after 4 years. Never had a problem sending attachments in all that time. Compressing it worked THO! Thank you.Scan mail must be something that the RECEIVER of the email has maybe.You could look at the email headers and see who SENT it to you.
