Solve : Encoding?

Answer»

I had a problem with text not appearing on web pages. I tracked it down to encoding, but I now have to manually encode every web page, i.e. view/encoding/more/central european. I have both auto select and uni-code (utf-8) ticked but it makes no diference. The encoding tends to be on Western European which gives me no text. This problem occurred after I went on a Portuguese website.
