i was trying to install DOOM 3 on my PC that runs xp professional but when the installation bar
reahced its end(about to finish installing) ,the following error appeard:"error1305.error reading from f:\setup\Data\Base\pak002.pk4.
verify that the file exists and that you can access it." the error window appeard with two options: "Retry" and "Cancel"..the Retry button didn't solve the problem
because the message has appeard again ...
i have:
-intel pentium 4 2.8 G.H.
-nVidia geforce4 MX 4000
-512 mb of RAM
-Realtek AC'97 Audio
i tried to install the game without autorun..but didn't work..
i also READ the troublshooting provided in this site,but nothing worked.. :-/
can any one help please??Before reinstalling Doom, completely remove it and clean your registry.
If this concerns a legal copy of Doom 3, have it exchanged for another copy to SEE if perhaps the copy is just FLAWED.
also, before you try to reinstall clean the DISCS (yes, all 3)
