PERHAPS it was reading problems.  Okay,

I'll go in a bit of detail.
There is some problem in association with IE6 and java based GUI applications.

Because whenever they run in parallel, IE gives an illegal exception and terminates.
With that the java application also hangs.

It works well with IE5.
On reinstallation of IE6 i got those 2 errors. You scanned for viruses & Spyware?Yes.Time for Mozilla Firefox.
Although I do ENJOY Firefox, that doesn't mean you can't get the issue resolved. There was an issue similar to this with IE5, what you may attempt to do is open the C:\Winnt1\System32 directory and delete the dxtrans.dll and other file from this directory and try running the install again.

The dxtrans.dll is also associated with DirectX therefore you may also want to try reinstalling DirectX if deleting the file and reinstalling IE doesn't resolve the issue.
http://Http://www.microsoft.com/directxA couple of points:

It works fine with IE5.
I also tried copying those 2 DLLS from other machine where these things work fine, so problem is not with dll.

I can't move to Firefox or others, there are some sites which don't open in it. Quote
