Solve : Excel files opening in Internet explorer?

Hi,

I've an WEB application which has a link to open an excel file, but on click
of the link the excel file is OPENED in an INTERNET explorer instead of an
Excel application. I've found some possible solutions
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162059 but any idea how to set this folder
OPTIONS via C#.NET code. I'm using IE6, MS Office 2003.
