Answer» i just reformated a computer. now i am trying to get it back up to speed. i just bought a usb wireless ADAPTER for the internet. when i instal it and set it up EVERYTHING looks like it should WORK FINE. when i go into internet explorer. it cannot open a page. when i right click on the icon near the time for the wireless status and click "repair" it does that but gives me an error "failed to renew IP address" i think this may be my PROBLEM. can anyone help me? i went into the LAN setting and clicked auto obtaion information aswell. waht is goin on hereIs the workgroup set up correctly? How about some explicit details about what you did? Did this used to work as you envision? If so, what has changed?
