Solve : Firefox and IE desktop links don't link to anything?

1.	Solve : Firefox and IE desktop links don't link to anything?
Answer» My friend lost his desktop links so I told him I knew how to get them back. They were there, but they would not TAKE him to the page they were set to take him to. I deleted them and WENT to the page he wanted and slid the address icon over to the desk TOP, bit no mater what page icon I slid over, clicking on it did not take me to the page. What would prevent desktop icons from linking to the page they were set to link to? Sandy in FL Any error, or just nothing HAPPENS?
