Answer» I have a NEW behaviour with firefox. . .on my old computer when I clicked on things like yahoo videos - they would open in a new window. I am sure that is how it is suppose to work. But now on my new computer, they always open in a new tab. . . Not how it is suppose to work. This is not related to the tab behaviour, and honestly I dont know exactly how to explain it. [recovering space - attachment deleted by admin]as I said, it is not related to the tab behaviour - it is more like having my ctrl key stuck. . .but it isnt. To open a link in a new window, CTRL is not enough. You need to press N at the same time.I think that your not understanding. . . Video links such as on yahoo news http://www.yahoo.com/ should open in a new window. I believe that is how they are scripted, but on my system they are opening in a new tab, MUCH like holding the ctrl key down. I went to Yahoo, and videos open in a very same tab for me...for me the videos open a new tab, and not a new window. also the AFFILIATE program that I use the most display stats in a new window, it now opens in a new tab. This is not how it is suppose to work.
I believe that I got it to work. as expected, but I dont remember FF working this way.
thanksGood to see you GETTING it fixed.Seemed to be my own ignorance. I DID in fact change the open in new windows tab that you pointed out. . . I think that I just remember thinking that it worked differently than it actually does. OH, well, it happens to everybody...
