Solve : firefox plugin folder?

Answer»

I am in the process of trying to fix the problem of not being able to update to java 6/3. After doing some research I FOUND out that I may need to delete java plugin dll file NPOJI610.dll from the firefox plugin folder, and then trying to install java. Here is the EMBARRASSING question coming from a person who is not very well versed in computers.................how do I access the Firefox plugin FOLDERS?? I don't know if this helps or not but I am running Firefox 2.0.0.9 as my default browser and Windows XP NPOJI610.dll can be found in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin folder
Depending on your current Java version "1.6.0_03" NUMBER will be different.Hello,
I had trouble with the new java update also. I play online games at POGO.com and after I installed it, I had no sound when I was at Pogo. I had read something about the new java file that mentioned it had some know issues and had to be uninstalled and re-installing it would correct it. The add on folder should be in your tools drop down menu. Hope that helps.
Java should be un-installed using Add/Remove programs...
