it seems like every couple of times i log on, and I lose my theme and my homepage and I get all the new installation pages of addons I got and everything. Is this like normal or how do I fix it?C'mon...you know the drill by now...

Nothing prior, just one day it did this and i though it updated or something. IM still kinda new to firefox so i dont know whats going on with it yet.
New software, ummm can't think of any. I might have installed winamp again about the time this happened.The newest version is 2.0.0.11: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

When you're done, install the newest version.There's never been a version 1.8. FF jumped from 1.5 to 2.0. I suspect gamerx365 have been looking at the version of some file instead of the software version.You're right. It must be 1.5 version (Gecko version 1.8 )

But gamerx365 if you could please select Help --> About Mozilla Firefox, the last line should tell you the software version. yeah i dont know. I found firefox.exe in my program files and found that version THING in its properties.
