Answer» Im playing DAOC and I can never play more than 5 min without getting booted because of internet connection. The lights on my cable box never FADE, and i set all firewall settings to allow the GAME access to the internet.
HOwever, when i remove the firewall, than i have full access to the game and never get booted. I have used ZoneAlarm and teh WindowsXP firewall with the same effect on both of them. ANy suggestions? There may be 1 or more files needed to access the internet for you to play your game correctly. For example 1 file sends data to a client and another file accepts data from the server. I am not to sure for I don't have that Game, but I hope that helps .
8-)fffreakHave u tried activating 'Game MODE' on zonealarm? that should allow all things that is needed for the internet connection between you and the server to pass through...How do i do that? From what I can remember when I used ZA, RIGHT click on its icon in the system tray and select game mode. I may be wrong and it's not there at all, if I am then someone else please say so. Been a while since I used ZA.
