Answer» I didn't KNOW quite where to put this... But here goes.
I'm trying to access online games (MUDs and the like). I've got myself decent telnet client and am now trying to get through a firewall. I've been on before and some people told me some good ports to try to get through and I've forgotten ( I could be mistaken) but if anyone knows any ports or IPs to get through a uni firewall I'd be deeply greatful ( I could be severley mislead here cos im sure before I got to the port stage i did so much more than download a poxy/proxy client HA) but then again any HELP is needed as always!
Cheers again people. x Ah, "a friend" of mine did this TYPE of stuff on Ragnarok, by accessing through ports and "pillow" servers.. You'll just have to know the ports or else randomizing ports while trying to access WOULD take forever, althouhg you might get lucky.I think I've sorted it God my exams are gunna suffer...
