Answer» I solved my internet explorer problems by uninstalling the google toolbar. Don't use them. They just slow your browser down and waste space and RAM. ROTFLMAO Do you ever read what you post..... or just burst into print to generate another post ? dl65 Actually I should take the RAM part out. That part was probably just a thought in te back of my mind that made it on print. It is true though that these toolbars waste HD space. Uncecessary. They DO slow down your browser sometimes too. FlameI like the google toolbar & can detect no speed difference at all.I used to use google toolbar but it made smaller my 15' monitor So I began to take away options one by one...NEWS, Autofill etc..and just remained search bar. Then I realized that Firefox has own search bar and removed Google toolbar completely... No memory, hanging complaints.Google Toolbar doesn't bring any performance issue to me. In fact its pop-up blocker work best for me. And the Search bar as well.ya know whats funny the new dell inspirons have started shipping with a lot of google stuff and as soon as we remove the google stuff they can go online just fine so i do think that google is very bad.I'm quite HAPPY with my google toolbar. Used to have fun seeing how many popups I could BLOCK with it. got up to like 1124 but I uninstalled it for a bit and the count restarted... I don't really have a problem with spyware adds (thanks to some of you guys), but the toolbar doesn't do so well against those. :-/yeah well i use x-cleaner micro edition and it gets spyware and EVERYTHING gone unfortunately i dont remember the site i got it from if anyone know plz tell me could use the help.A quick google search turrned this up: http://www.xblock.com/products.php <---------------------------i know google is a friend and so is webopedia.com and dictionary.com are best friends. |
