That PC seems fine. What about the recommended settings?@ the_mad_joker

Before I buy a game I try to assure myself it can be played on the computer before I buy it

@ kpac

When I try to view the recommended settings, I get a yellow line that says "CPU could not be analyzed" - The other settings are goodAre you buying it in a shop? If so, tell them your specs are they'll surely let you know if you can run it.You don't get my point, I mean it's like saying: "I can play GTA IV on a PC with Geforce 4 series"

Sure the game would run, but it has to be playable - and the example about GTA IV and a poor PC is something that will just run the game, but it would certainly not be playable

If the game just runs it usually (for me) means the USER would suffer while trying to play the game (If it can be played)

As anyone should be able to understand, I don't want this to happen:
I buy a game, I play it, I discover I need to upgrade something in order to play the game normally

And lastly the places I buy games from knows almost nothing about hardware, as they are specialists on gamesI'm sure you'll be able to play that game without any hickups from a hardware standpoint. I RECENTLY upgraded a PC and it can run Crysis on a mix of some medium and some high settings.

Specs of PC:

Intel E5400 Dual Core @ 2.7GHz
2GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM
PNY GeForce GT 220 1GB
Foxconn (Dell) G33M02 Motherboard
Windows Vista 32bit

I would say the GT 220 will help out quite a bit. How fast is your 2GB of RAM? Is it at least DDR2?I have never seen a motherboard with socket AM2 and DDR1 Ram slots

It's 2Gb 667Mhz DDR2 Ram

I think it wont make any problems with GTA IV, as you have a pretty smilar setupQuote

I have never seen a motherboard with socket AM2 and DDR1 Ram slots

Neither have I. Probably because I don't keep up with AMD or any of their products.
