| Answer» When i try to run Halo it says-Video hardware is below recomended minimum space
Video Hardware MEMORY has less then recomended space
 Problem with Dirct3D, run DXDIAG

 I have a HP 7920
Is it possible to fix some of these things, please post tips.
Your SYSTEM is not capable of providing the amount of processing power Halo requires. It is most likely your videocard that can not provide Halo with what it requires.

What kind of videocard is installed?

That is the system you are referring to, correct?
Yes it is. I dont know about the video card, everything on it is stock, i havn't added or changed anything. It is not my main source of games, and i only plan to have Halo on it.
The errors about the Video card are not fatal errors, and Halo can be played with them. But I cannot figure out the thing about the Direct Diagnostic thing. How MUCH memory does your video card have on it?

This should tell you what video card you have, please post it when you find what it isRecommended: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, Pentium III 1.4 GHz, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB on HD, 128 MB video cardIntel(R) 82810 Graphics Controller
 32 MB
Does that help u at all?Halo PC Requirements:
 CPU: 733 MHz
 RAM: 128MB
 HDD Space: 1.2GB
 Graphics Card: 32MB / 3D T&L capable, GeForce 2+ recommended
 Halo PC Suggested Requirements:
 CPU: 1.4GHz+
 RAM: 512MB
HDD Space: 1.5GB, with an ADDITIONAL 3MB per screenshot, plus approximately 4.6MB for each patch downloaded
Graphics Card: A GeForce4 Ti 4200 or equivalent will let you play smoothly at 800x600 with Pixel Shaders. GeForce4 MX cards are not recommended: their "4" is a misnomer.

Click on Start>Run & type dxdiag and hit enter.
Select the 'display' tab to check your directX features.
everything is fine, except for i only have 126 RAM, is it possible to get more. And im not sure if the card is compatiblethe 2 mb difference in ram wont matter, for instance i played the bf2 demo for a week on 256 mb or Ram when the lowest required was 512MB
 Ram is easily upgraded
Could it be that he doesnt have the updated video drives for his card?Your onboard videocard won't cut it. Not even my ATI/Radeon 9000Pro 128MB would.

When I first played Halo, I believe I tested it on the following configuration:

 Celeron 1100Mhz
 256MB RAM
 30GB 5200RPM HDD
 ATI/Radeon 9000Pro 128MB

It did not ran all too well, and after that it decided to reset my computer each time I attempted to reconfigure video settings.

 My other comuter has an
 NVIDIA RIVA TNT
would this work, and if it would can u switch them? You could swap the videocards. However, disable your onboard videocard before installing the expansion card. Otherwise, conflicts may occur.

I do not know if your other videocard will suffice, as I do not know of its specifications.
