Answer» i have a windows 98 and i dont consider it to be the slowest computer in teh world but its not teh fastest. i can play half life and empire earth on it but i cant play a mmorpg called runescape on it. everything goes smoothly untill i start playing. when i move my guy the entire screen has to reload. and it takes 5 minutes to do.when teh screen doesnt reaload it lags so bad that by the time the guy moves i have to LOGIN again.can some1 PLEASE help me with thisHow do you connect to the internet? Dial-up? have you scanned for viruses and Spyware? Is your Java up to date? Are you saying that you have no virus or Spyware protection? That is a BIG "no no"... You need to have such software... My guess is Spyware right now, but you never know...
