Answer» my sims says that its installed onto my computer, but everytime i put a disc in, it says its the wrong disc.ive put in every sims disc i own(4 dics- deluxe edition 1&2, Superstar 1&2) and it still says its please put in the proper disc. how do i fix this? :)thanksis your CD drive fully functional? does it SOMETIMES have a problem reading discs?I've read a lot of problems like this with Sims Deluxe. SEEMS a lot of them were fixed by downloading the patch: http://thesims.ea.com/us/getcool/gamepatch/DEpatchindex.htmlive already downloaded that. and yea everything ELSE works in it, its functionalwell, without having any personal experience on this issue, the best advice i can GIVE you is to uninstall/reinstall the game.What OS are you on, b/c my sims has had some bcakwards compatibility issues.
