Solve : How can Improve Graphics.?

Answer»

Go to the Crysis game settings and put everything on HIGH if your pc can handle it.Vista is not the problem, its the hardware, just like Crysis. Which is why you have all these questions about it. Why wont it play on high, why is the start up time so slow etc. etc. Apple and Xp cannot do direct x 10 period. If you want the best GRAPHICS possible you have to use Vista. Vista designed direct3d 10 to favor unified shader architecture which gives you better graphics and makes it easier for developers. Most people don't update there system and try putting it on there older system and wonder whys its slow. Plus there are not that many machines that can handle Crysis or Vista well. Its fine if you want to wait, but if you want the best graphics you have to run Vista. Both Vista and Crysis are ahead of the hardware thats AFFORDABLE to most people, and thats what makes it so fustrating to most people.

Apparently, the game does a GREAT job of living up to its name...

Crysis Requirements Last Updated: October 18, 2007

Crysis will no doubt be a fairly demanding game. It will require a good system to perform well. However, CryEngine2 is very scalable so lower end machines will still stand a chance. Here are the official, and complete system requirements for Crysis.

Minimum Requirements

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista), Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista), AMD ATHLON 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or better
RAM: 1GB (1.5GB on Windows Vista)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or better
VRAM: 256MB of Graphics Memory
Storage: 12GB
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
ODD: DVD-ROM
OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10

Recommended Requirements

CPU: Core 2 Duo/Athlon X2 or better
RAM: 1.5GB
Video Card: NVIDIA 7800 Series, ATI Radeon 1800 Series or better
VRAM: 512MB of Graphics Memory
Storage: 12GB
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
ODD: DVD-ROM
OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10
Just a couple of tricks (maybe...please correct me if I am wrong) that I do when I game.

1. I upped the paging file to 1.5 times my actual RAM
2. I always reboot prior to loading the game so I have full access to all resources for the game.
3. I defrag often (albeit there is a fair amount of discussion that this does nothing)
4. Always adjust the video game settings ingame. Besides, you can see the result faster.
5. Ensure that the latest STABLE video card drivers are being used. Research it first.

Anyways...just my 2.3 cents worth.
