Answer» I want play an older pc GAME. I know it RUNS on Win 95. Now that I want to play it again it's not compatible with 64-bit vista. I tried fiddling with the compatibility, RUNNING as administrator, using a virtual comp (which I can't use because I don't have ANYTHING but a windows vista home version disk, so I can't even put an OS on the virtual comp).
Do I have any other options left?
Thank you for your help.Did you try Compatibility Mode?yup, tried that. What about Virtual PC 2007?Can I ask what is the game?Mordor 1.1 Depths of Dejenol
I tried Virtual PC. It said I needed an OS.Virtual PC will run a virtual copy of an OS (Like Windows 98, XP, Vista, Linux, or whatever), so you can run older programs or games INSIDE of it. You have to install the OS first, like you would install it onto a new computer.
You gotta get an install disc of an older OS in order to play that game. Unless someone can find a way to make it run on Vista 64bit...I dont think that it can but its just me cause of the way it is. 64 bit vs like 32 bit there is a big difference.
