Answer» Hello EVERYONE... I am sort of new to going head first into Linux. Took a course in it over the summer and know how to build up a system, add features ETC, but never altered a Live-CD yet to know how to do this.
My college professor said that I could alter Knoppix to add and alter the way it runs, but we never got into altering ONE.
I am guessing that I would have to have a Linux system up and running, which I have one running Fedora CORE 5, and decompress the contents of Knoppix Live-CD to a folder on the Linux system, make changes, then compress and burn the CD to create my altered Knoppix Live-CD.
What I mainly want to do is create a Web Server that runs from a Knoppix Live-CD with no HD present, and run Apache2 with my web page. Seen all over the google searches about people claiming to do this, but no information on how they do it.

What you are describing is already available without you having to reinvent the wheel. Look into Slax Server Edition, DSL etc. on these pages:
