Solve : How to install Xubuntu using DSL??

Answer»

I'm on DSL darn small linux, I want to install Xubuntu instead but I only have DSL to do so. I don't have a CD burner but I have an SD card...but only an external SD card reader. I need very clear instructions on how to create a bootable SD card with Xubuntu using DSL. I can't even join the chat room because I can't figure out how to get Java to work on here or Flash. Can't afford windows. So any HELP would be APPRECIATED. Thanks! Here are some popular Linux distributions

Linux Mint 11
Ubuntu 11.04
Puppy

These can be put on a USB SD device easily.

As for Xubuntu, there was some information on
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-xubuntu-810-install-via-the-usb-creator/
This video requires a WORKING Windows or Linux system.I don't know is DSL will work . I never tried it. He mentions DSL in the
video and Puppy as well as Ubuntu.
Watch the video ANS come back here, if you wish.

My own experience is that puppy is very easy to install to USB

But in you case, not having a CD burner  is a problem.

Read the information on pendrivelinux  and see if that works. Sorry, I am not able to do a step my step at this time.
