Solve : I can only have one IE browser open at a time??

Answer»

I can only have on IE web browser open at a time. Let's say that I'm at hotmail.com checking my email and I want to view another web page and open up IE again it will close the hotmail.com (first browser open). So I can never look at more than one website at a time. This is a new problem but has become increasingly more frustrating. I have gone to so many forums and different places posting this problem and nobody ever responds. Please help me!Have you scanned for viruses and Spyware?

[glb]Flame[/glb]yes i have scanned. I did have trojans on my computer, and the browser thing happened during that PERIOD, but the trojans are gone now and i'm left with this problem. This is a strange question, but... When you "cleaned" out the trojans, did you really delete them, or send them to your QUARANTINE folder? Sending it there will not fix ANYTHING.... What did you do?

[glb]Flame[/glb]Well the trojans were in my high speed security suite, so i uninstalled the security suite, and then i downloaded trojan hunter and still found 2 trojans and it renamed them so they can not be activated. I then scanned again and it hasn't found any more trojans. I just did a scan on adaware and it showed that i have zero spyware.Try this... Run and install any Windows Updates that you can find on http://www.microsoft.com ... This might work...

[glb]Flame[/glb]i already looked for updates earlier TODAY, there weren't any, except for like 30 different language updates.Have you tried reinstalling IE?

[glb]Flame[/glb]no, do you think i should?im having the same problem so plz tell if reinstalig helped I say give it a shot!    You really have nothing to loose, so yes... Try it... Keep in touch...

[glb]Flame[/glb]If you have the Yahoo Toobar installed, this may be causing the problem. Try uninstalling the Toolbar, reboot and see what happens.

Good Luck.  thx for the help :)sidewinders advis worked for me
