[recovering SPACE - attachment deleted by admin]Just kidding...Ok, I am back home and I cannot connect.

Restart computer.I have already done this a few times. I will try again.Steps repeated, still no connection. So I did another google search and found a site called The Cloak and if I try to get on through that site, I can connect.

Could my ip some how have been blocked? I doubt...

... This is the first time I've visited a site where I could reach it via DOMAIN name, but not by IP address.

It is hosted by a virtual server. When your browser sends the request, it also sends the host name so the virtual server can match up the request with the correct page.

Domaintools.com says the kaboose.com server (i.e. that IP address) hosts 312 other sites.

But that's nothing. The server my website is on hosts over 900 sites with one IP address. So if the domain name doesn't resolve on a virtual server, you're done -- you don't get to your target site. The server must be blocking the original poster's IP address.I actually talked to the company yesterday and was told that they are having technical DIFFICULTIES. Some people can get on and some people can't. I am obviously one who can't. I am glad to KNOW that it isn't something on my end.

Thanks for all the help and time, I appreciate it!Well, as much as I try to avoid it, I learned a few things, too. Quote
