Solve : I can't get rid of this horizontal tab...?

Answer»

I downloaded the new VERSION of Firefox, and now a new tab opens, that I cant get rid of. It's a Linked In JOBS Insider tab, and it opens vertically to the left. It has an X to the right that I can click and easily close, but when I OPEN CRAIGSLIST, or other job hunting searches, it opens back up again. I've tried to click on Toolbar's, customize, to try and get rid of. I've tried to click on options, and get rid of there also.
Can someone please try to help me?

How do I disable auto-activation on JobsInsider in Firefox?

From the LinkedIn Companion for Firefox® drop down menu take the following steps to disable the auto-activation feature of JobsInsider:

Click on the arrow next to the 'in' icon in the toolbar.
Click on the 'PREFERENCES' option to activate the preferences dialog.
Click on the 'LinkedIn JobsInsider' tab.
Click on the 'Open JobsInsider when browsing a known job site' box until a check mark no longer appears.
Click on 'OK'.
