I have I.E. 6. Will updateing to I.E. 7 be a wise move. No problem It took me a while to get used to it, but I don't use it often anyway so it doesn't really bother meby the way Calum,.. say I downloaded i.e. 7 .... and didn't like it,.. can I re-download 6 ?People on this FORUM have successfully removed IE7 and reverted to IE6. Your mileage may vary. Talisman..... You will notice that the things you are used to seeing when using IE 6 ..... may appear not to be there ........ for example : the refresh button , the history button , the back button as your used to seeing it ....... and others. These items are still there , it's just a matter of locating then. I installed it , however after several days of using it , I noted there was a little lag time when switching between pages or opening new pages ....... I also noted a slight differance in the FONTS ....... After reading other peoples comments who have tried it ..... ( the most recent IE7 ) ..... I decided to revert back to IE 6 at least for the time being. It does offer additional security protection , however the lag issue ...... I do not like ..... ( As far as I know , the test machine is free of any BUGS or pests ).
