Solve : I uprgade my pc and now games don't play well....?

Hi everyone, I just don't get it! Two days ago I upgraded the hardware on my computer and now games lag terribly!

I had

Xp Pro
2g ddr ram
Athlon xp 2500
Geforce 6200 apg
Dx 9.0c

I could run Samurai Warriors 2 with hardly any difficulty on low settings. I could also run JPOG and Sniper ELITE rather well on modest settings

I just switched my hard ware around to this

Xp Pro
2G DDR2 Ram
Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+ {2.7}
ECS GeForce7050M-M Motherboard
DX 9.0c

Please help me. I'm beginning to BELIEVE I was better off on old hardware.One factor might be that the new PROCESSOR is 64-bit- do your games have any 64-bit versions?Quote from: archenstone on October 17, 2008, 06:31:33 PM
