Answer» Just a question, rather than a problem. In times past I had downloaded IE 10 update. This resulted in my fonts having "bits" missing on the vertical strokes etc. I System Restored on that occasion back to the original IE and all was serene. I was offered IE11 update and believing the bug had been removed, downloaded it. Same problem with the fonts in files and print. Another System Restore and all serene. Running Windows 7, 64 bit as specified in the download.. I am quite happy using the IE I have now, but was just wondering if this is widespread, or what could be causing it.So, what version of IE are you running now?IE 9-Google-Firefox. No problems.only when I tried to download IE 10 and 11 Happily using IE9 but curious as to why it WOULD reject the updates. Scanned with Malwarebytes, Spybot and CC. Thanks for your interest. When PRESENTED with the invitation, I too upgraded to IE11, and found many programs adversely affected including something as SIMPLE as the "desktop GADGETS" which stopped being DISPLAYED correctly. Reverted to IE 10 and all was well again.
