Solve : ie 11 freeing up?

I have windows 7 with ie 11.  ie 11 keeps freezing up randomly.  I have to correct it by USING ctl-alt-delete.  how do I fix this as it is increasing getting annoying.More info...

So, you're shutting down by using ctl-alt-delete?Let's start at the beginning. Has it always been a problem or did it start recently? Do other browsers work normally? If you run IE "safe mode" what happens?it has only become a problem within the last COUPLE months. the only browser that I have used is .  google chrome messes EVERYTHING up.  I don't recall it doing it to this EXTENT on ie 10.
