Solve : IE 6.0 and i-NAV - IE application error?

Answer»

I get an application error when CLOSING Internet Explorer 6.0:
IExplore.exe - Application Error The memory could not be "read"

It seems to have different outcome on different computers, with Windows XP and IE 6.0, when I try to get rid of this message.
Usually it's enough to delete TEMP files and disable all i-NAV options, but on some computers this will not help.

Can anyone help me on the question what effect i-NAV has in IE 6.0, and why there are different outcomes? Please help me know what is i-NAV is?

Google gives me:

From your post the i-NAV is not compatible with IE 6 because you tried TWO different computers. So, do you not want to use FireFox 3 instead?
I could find this on google though, so I'd say t should be compatible:

"The i-Nav plug-in is compatible with Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and runs in Internet Explorer 5.0 and above."

I'm using Firefox on my computer, but due to some restrictions for someone I know, they're not able to use Firefox or any other version of IE than IE 6.0

I found a website regarding i-NAV, http://idn.verisign-grs.com/plug-in/support/#helpg1, but it doesn't say anything about the error message that pops up.

Do you know any other ways to get rid of this error, as disabling i-NAV doesn't always WORK?

Thank you
