Solve : IE~6 and OE~6 gone walkabout? |

Answer» I'm running winxp pro and YESTERDAY I suddenly found the icons for IE6 and OE6 were gone from my DESKTOP. Also the entries in Hide/remove programs are missing? I think both programs are still there however but I can't access them. If I click on a link in an email I get IE6 opened OK and similarly OE6 still SEEMS to be my default mail program? If I try to reinstall it says these program are ALREADY installed? I'm confused!Are you the only person with access to this computer?Absolutely no one else involved. I don't know what I did to cause the problem!Well that solves one variable. Can you create a new icon on the desktop for each? Ricght click there and select create shortcut and then navigate to the appropriate file.Run the scans for parasites too. |
