Answer» My wife and I have seperate user accounts using XP on our PC.If she logs on to the internet and remains logged on and I then open my user account and try to connect to internet, I get an error message with the heading"MS Visual C+++ Runtime LIBRARY" Runtime Error - Prog: C\Prog Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE. !! If I then return to her account,and log her off, I can then connect to the internet! Is this normal? Incidently ,we have no problems accessing our e-mail accounts. Any suggestions WOULD be welcomeTry creating another user account. Then re-boot and log in to her account and re-create the situation. Now log on to the new user account and see if the same THING occurs... Try creating another user account. Then re-boot and log in to her account and re-create the situation. Now log on to the new user account and see if the same thing occurs...THANK you for that suggestion. However,having DONE exactly as you have said,the end result is the same! We cannot have two or more users logged on the internet at the same time!! |
