Answer» Opening IE 7 always goes to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx instead of my home page. It is an attempt either to promote download of IE 8 beta or update of IE 7. How do I get rid of this STARTUP and go straight to my home page (a file on my local machine). Have you tried changing your homepage? (Right Click Internet Explorer and go to Properties)Tried setting a new home page. Didn't help. Maybe, IE8 beta has major security updates, I'd advise you to upgrade to IE8.
