I recently installed IE 8 Beta2 on my laptop running Vista Home Premium and I just discovered that I can't download anything. When I click "save as" it goes through the motions but nothing downloads. At first I thought it was my router firewall but I can download on Firefox with no problem. I've checked my firewall but everything looks good there. I tried to go back to IE 7 but there's no download for IE7 on Vista. Any ideas what's happening here.1. By now, you know, it's not a good idea to install any "beta" on MAIN machine, don't you?

After uninstall, it'll revert itself to IE7.Thanks, broni. I know that now. Fortunately, this is not my main machine. Just my laptop. Everything's working fine now. If I only could figure out how Vista handles it's files.
