Solve : IE 8or 7? |

Answer» computer crashed did a reinstall of xp down loaded I E 8 had some problems had to do restore to point of reinstall of xp tried to reinstall IE 8 OR 7 but keep encountering install error. I have a dell demension 2350 1.8 processor pent 4 the ONLY things I have installed on here is avg and service pack 3 any help appreciated thanksHi, Just use firefox. Its a much better browser Firefox is good, or you can get google chrome if you like that. Both are working fine.Since installing IE8 I have had nothing but issues with urlmon.dll errors which lock various web sites and MAKE them unavailable.......same issues have been seen in IE7 for years.......MS has a LIST of fixes, none of which have solved the problem.....judging from the number of complaints in the MS forums, thousands of people have the same problems.....My suggestion is that if you have IE7 and it works well for you, then forget about IE8.....it's just not worth the aggravation.but if you have ie8 and it is working fine with your system, like it is on my system, it WOULD be great to have it Else if you're having difficulties, then get an alternative browser. |
